Help Setting Up the Fundraiser Orders
It is delivery day for the fundraiser you have been coordinating for the last month or so. D-day. This is the day everything has been building up to. After today, you can relax and pat yourself on the back for all the hard work you have been doing making sure the fundraiser runs smoothly. But first, you need to make it through today.
Things Can Go Wrong
Then things start to go wrong. You show up on time to meet the delivery truck, but it is late. Even worse, you have a voicemail from one of your volunteers, letting you know she is running late. The other volunteer was a maybe, and you can’t reach him on the phone.
When the truck finally does show up, you only have 30 minutes to get it unloaded and set up before you have to start handing out orders. Thankfully the truck driver is very nice and helps unload the product and get it to the room where you are going to hand out the orders. But when he leaves, you are left with a mess of boxes that are not organized, and parents are lining up to pick up their orders, looking impatient.
Feeling Overwhelmed?
You are faced with a choice. You can let the frustration wash over you, feel un-appreciated as you try to find orders for parents who are giving you angry glances (“I’d like to see them do this”, you think to yourself). You struggle through the distritbution, getting a little relief when a couple of volunteers trickle in. But you vow to never volunteer to coordinate another fundraiser (the same promise you made to yourself last year, perhaps).
Stop the Madness
Or you can stop all of this. Rewind, through the whole fundraising process, to that meeting where your group chose the fundraiser and you volunteered to coordinate it. The choice you make in that meeting directly effects your sanity level on the fundraising pick up day. Its not your choice to coordinate the fundraiser that you need to change. Its your group’s choice of fundraising companies that is important.
We Create a Better Delivery Day!
You see, if your group had chosen to work with Stevco, you would be having a much better delivery day. First of all, we would have been there on time. We deliver in our own trucks so we can guarantee it. Secondly, if you were there by yourself, struggling to get things ready for pick up, we would be happy to step in and help. Our delivery person can easily act as an extra volunteer for your fundraiser, a sort of super-volunteer. He can help you get everything set up alphabetically before you have to start handing out orders.
This will make your delivery day so much better. You won’t have to stress about it. If your volunteers don’t show up, it won’t be the end of the world. We will get you started on the right foot.
Do You Value the Importance of Great Service?
This is a service that we provide to any group that needs it. Its the kind of thing that really sets Stevco apart from our many competitors. But sometimes groups don’t see the importance of this when they are making the decision about which fundraising company to work with. They look at other things, like how the brochure looks, and how much extra profit a salesman is willing to guarantee to get the sale.
Here’s what we guarantee, when you do a fundraiser with us, it will be the easiest fundraiser you have ever done. Even if it is a big, school-wide or sports league fundraiser, it will be easy. We go the extra mile just to make sure it is. Our job as a company is to make your job as a fundraising coordinator as easy and stress-free as possible. So at the next meeting where your group is deciding on which fundraiser to run, be sure to speak up. You owe it to yourself and everyone involved. You’ll thank yourself come delivery day!
